A local University of Alabama professor contacted me a week ago, (after hearing about my radio interview), hoping to use a DeLorean for a particular scene in a small movie he's making. I'll be honest, I don't totally understand the full story line but, It follows a man, (A Doc type character), and his granddaughter.
The scene is a quick one that has "Doc" by the side of the car, saying a line about the future and flying cars to his granddaughter. He shuts the door, and plays with his transmitter sending the car off to?
My job, accelerate the car up to 88 mph, (OK, 8 mph), out of camera shot. The location was a small parking lot behind Bryant Denny stadium.
It amazed me how long it took to get about 15 seconds of video that the director liked. First was setting the lighting. 2 hours. Then spending 30 minutes implementing a way that hides the fact that I'm in the car driving it out of frame. (Pictures below).
After 5 takes, they were all Happy. (I was glad to get home before midnight)...
There was a lot of intrest in the car, the history of the company and such. I lost count of how many pictures were taken of it.
Of course, everyone Had to have their picture taken in the car.
When the video is finished I'll post a link. (The professor has a few other video's on YouTube. Just search, Alabama Ghostbusters).

Very cool video. I liked it regardless of the DeLorean connection. It was even more cool that with that few, very specific references that BTTF made it in. They did it very well... at least I thought so. You should be pleased to have contributed to it.
