I have to bypass the original relay to make it works.
You should replace yours too, it's always nice to have something's working on our car

This afternoon I installed Dave Mc Keen (Bitsyncmaster) Led board, and what can I say, it's simply amazing.
The result is absolutely beautiful. Before this, I, had white Leds behind the panel and the illumination wasn't nice enough.
Now, a few pictures to see it:

Paint the plastic face plate black where the round push buttons sit and you wont see the lights on the sides of the buttons. They were painted black in stock form. That prevents the light from bleeding on the sides of the buttons.

Happiness for a short time. The engine run 15 minutes and then I left the car outside, time to clean up the garage about 3 hours and then when I restarted the engine, the rear def light was on without the center button?
Then 30 seconds later some smoke happened and I immediately cut the power off.
The red wire and black wire are almost gone...
Does anyone encountered something like this?
I didn't saw any short circuit against the plate so I wonder why is this happening?
Do you have any clue please?
Please see the pictures below:

It looks like your metal plate pushed up on the connector pins. The circuit board is probably OK but the connector is shot. PM me your shipping address and I will send you an new board and new connector harness. I will cut the pins as short as possible and epoxy over them. Do a little inspection to see if that was the cause.
