Wrapping front and rear bumpers bushed stainless steel?

One thing that has always kind of bugged me with the D is that the front and rear bumpers don't match the rest of the car. I've seen some bushed stainless steel wrap, and was wondering if anyone has tried wrapping the front and rear bumpers with the bushed stainless steel wrap?

Well that is just how the delorean was designed...
You can see what a full length uni-colored Delorean looks like with the painted ones.
Me, I love that that difference. Else you get too close to the looks of the lotus Elise.

After all.. The Stainless "Look" sheet will never fully look the same as the true metal's stainless LOOK!

I'd like to see pictures too but the grey facia look is simply part of the car as it has always been. But in case you had to repaint...

You could do that with the louvre too, but that would be overkill.

I have been thinking of this for a while now. I have not purchased anything yet since there are so many different kinds I did not know what looked best. I would not like to buy a big roll of material and have it look too weird. I know there will not be a perfect color match but close would be nice.

Does anyone recommend a brand or part number?

I would definitely give that a try.

I think it would give a consistent look and relatively easy to do. I know it's not OEM but it is also non destructive and easily reversible.

    Thanks

The problem with wrapping it, is that it won't work out well. If it were fairly flat, you could do it, but there are too many sharp curves. The brushed metal vinyl doesn't stretch much. If you see the pictures in the link above for the other thread, you can see it is pieced together in a LOT of places.
