I have a Lotus and it also is a lot more car then most drivers would know how to handle. First of all you do not let children drive such a car. Secondly anyone who drives a car like that MUST get some track time with an instructor so they can appreciate what the car can do and what the driver MUST do to keep it under control. Not the case with a Delorean. it is a very tame, underpowered car and you really have to push it to lose control. It does have a nasty propensity to "swap ends" under the wrong conditions but it takes a LOT to get to that point. As for "coolness" , the Delorean is right up there with the Lambo and for a LOT less money!

Just trying to point out how a fun day can quickly turn into a bad day if you don't do some preparation. A machine like a Lambo is not something you can "play" with. It is a serious piece of machinery and has to be treated like a loaded gun.
