I didn't like where they put us last year (basically at the outskirts of the show) so I'm not sure I'm crazy about taking the car this year. Just seeing if anyone else is taking their car and/or spectating this Saturday 9/6/14?

Oh wow, that time a year again. I'll probably take mine out there. Hopefully they give us better placement this year.
Well I never made it, even to spectate. Did anyone go? Any pics?

Here’s some pics. It was 95 degrees.
I’d say that there were probably more cars there, but slightly lesser variety than previous years.
Sponsoring vendors had the prime spots; RR, McLaren, A-M
The usual Triumphs, MGs, Morgans, very few classic Minis unfortunately, lots of E-Types/XKEs, the obligatory black Esprit series I
Half a dozen Sunbeam Tigers and Alpines, actually mostly Tigers (Ford 289 V
Same 289 in this Shelby Cobra. Somewhat questionable for a British car show in that it was a Shelby and not an AC. It did have the blackest paint I have ever seen.
Larger V8s in this pair of Interceptors sounded beautiful
Most interesting car was this Allard J2X Mk II, which subsequent reading tells me is a modern day recreating of the J2 from the 1950s. $150k if you want one. Still don’t “get” the tag FSTFROG as it isn’t French.
The Norcross police were showing off their new ride
Fat Tire Beer?

Thanks for posting those pics. Yeah when I stepped outside at home and felt how hot the sun was, it helped me feel better about missing the show.
Were the cars spread around town the same way like before? Did they have some stretched out to that south end again?
The FSTFROG plate makes sense to me. It's green, has bug-frog-eyes, and is presumably fast. ??

Well, I missed last year but the main drag from the T intersection South-Westwards past the Taste of Britain was used for Triumphs, MGs, RR, Mclaren etc. The parking lot for the café had the TRs
The short run north-west to the RR tracks and then to the right along side the tracks had more MGs and Austin Healey, and the LandRovers
To the South of the T, past the Iron Horse, lining the road were the Jags and minis, all the way up the hill. (My buddies XJS V12 was the very last car up on the hill at the entrance to the park) The Iron Horse parking lot had the Lotus, which is where the Ds may have been. Next to that was a shaded lot for Morgans.
