Is SpecialTauto / DeLorean Auto Parts the only vendor currently selling the side stripes? I suppose next step is getting them made...!

The side stripe is weird to me - I always hate it in pictures but when I see it in person on a real car, it's fantastic.

I quite agree, they look much better in person.
I can easily get a set of larger width stripes made up in a couple of days.
The other option is to make the main thick part of the stripe the same width of the black part of the bumper and then the smaller stripe below could be in grey/silver to match the lover part of the bumper.
Can someone mock that up? I'm on iPad at the moment.
I can easily get these made at a very good price as my friend is a sign writer and has done many sets for me before, often with subtle modifications.
Indeed he has done 15 sets this week.

Well I've had enough bits made to safely say that they can be made and sent stateside for max £80 and the dollar is pretty good against the £pound at the moment.
As for matching the grain... I have a source for oem style grain material but it proved very problematic to cut so I ditched it and now just go with Matt black.

That's definitely a good price. I'm waiting for a quote from a local place, but if they don't come through then I may take you up on your offer.
I like all the examples above but I like the one Hervey's Special T sells.
I put some on 4915 and it looks great. The material is thick and
I expect it to last a long time.

Yeah, he recreates what was the original dealer option really well... but I'm looking for something slightly different.
