    Gentlemen,

    Sorry for the delay, work has been very busy.

    David T - Yes I am SURE I clamped the correct line. I also tried clamping the return to see what would happen. The pressure jumped to 9 bar and I scared myself, so I didn't repeat it!

    The vacuum test should confirm there is no tear in the diaphragm IIRC. If there is a tear, you'd only draw gasoline.

    Thanks for the help everyone. Toby is sending up a new pump and some o rings.

    That 9 bar sure tested your accumulator. You only want to clamp that return line with rest pressure present.
