    Catalytic Converter Removal

I was all ready to remove my cat today and replace it with a test pipe, but there is one bolt I cant seem to get a socket on. It sits right behind the o2 sensor preventing direct access to it. Has anyone else had issues getting to this bolt? What was the solution? I'm reluctant to remove the o2 sensor as that in itself looks like a major pain.

    My VIN:    16409

Try getting a crows-foot to better access the nut. If the O2 sensor hasn't been replaced in a white it's probably a good idea to change out.

Yeah you're right, I probably should tackle the o2 sensor as well. It was looking really crusty, so I didn't want to pick a fight with it at the time. But its probably long overdue!
