To make a claim like that they would need some kind of proof that JZD did, in fact, own it. And even if you can provide such proof that doesn't also mean he actually rode on it. It is almost like saying your Delorean was owned by JZD. In point of fact, it would be true since he did own every car produced by DMC till it was sold (that is JZD, ALL of the investors AND the bank!).
