Final pic for this thread, 1417 with a couple of her garage mates and my two girls. Watched BttF1 last night so now we are acting out the movie.
I agree with the others, very interesting trip story. Thanks for sharing.
So can we update the Registry to now show 1417 in Mississippi?

Great adventure. I'm looking forward to my own, come spring. I hope it's half as enjoyable and successful as yours.
Nice "garage-mates" too.

What do your solar panels heat?

Since making it home, I have used the car as my main travel vehicle (since it gets the best MPG of anything I drive) and it has performed flawlessly.
The 63SWC is Sebring Silver and I will look for an "Other Cars" thread to add more photos; I have always wanted one and got it for my 40th b'day. Enjoyed winning a Bloomington Gold and NCRS Top Flight Award this year.
The solar panels run our entire home (27 panels, 6500 watt array) and send about half of their generation back into the grid. We do not have net metering or a payment mechanism for our excess so it will never pay off but my wife and I like trying self sustainability projects and this one has worked well. Nice to run the AC's, pool pump, etc all day for "free" though my backup batteries have aged to the point that we kick back to grid power at night. Bill reduced by about 70% compared to preinstall.
Yes, my wife was a KD, Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. Her old jersey has become the favorite sleepwear of my 12yo.

Nice story all around.
Have at it with the photos when you're ready. Here is the thread for Other (non-D) Cars You Own: http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?7517
