    Question on shocks /struts coils

Hello Josh, sorry if I just missed this on your site but what is the pricing for a complete set of shocks/struts with coil springs? Thanks The shocks are Spax right?

DPI no longer sells the Spax I believe, Josh posted on FB about some failure he had with a rear and is dropping the brand due to inferior quality.

Thanks for stepping in Clint. I saw this thread thanks to google alerts.... No longer following. That is correct on the shocks. We are currently only offering our coil over system and will have bilesteins back in production shortly.

I bought my Spax shocks from you, could you post a picture of the failure?

See how the decal is being ripped off from the spring purch pushing it down? The weld that attaches the threaded sleeve to the shock body failed, not enough penetration, that isnt something you can just sand and reweld as the shock is full of pressurized oil.

That is a serious problem! Anyone else had a failure? What was Spax response to this?

This was only present on our last batch of shocks purchased with no failures like this prior. All absorbers from this batch have been recalled and replaced. Unfortunately we were unable to correct the situation to our satisfaction with the supplier and decided to no longer continue a business relationship. Recently a owner from the uk seeing these two conversations has stepped in and is trying to deal with the company directly. Our decision is final still.

Has anyone talked to Josh in the last week?? I've been trying to get a hold of him for the last two weeks. All I get is his voicemail that is full.

    Thanks
