Oil Sensor replacement

Quick question -

I just ordered new oil pressure senders. One for the light and one for the gauge. Can I replace them without losing a ton of oil, or should I just wait to replace them till my next oil change? Also, I ordered an air bleeder for the coolant system. once installed, will it bleed the air automatically, or will I need to manually open a valve? If I do have to open a valve, when should I do that? After the car has been running for awhile?

Both of them can be replaced with little mess. When the engine isnt running the oil is all in the sump, a good vertical distance from the sensors. You will have some dribble but not a constant stream or anything.

What type of bleeder did you get? Toby's kit? If it is toby's kit the air off the thermostat housing bleeds automatically but you still need to bleed it manually at the rad. Its really easy though.

Yeah... There's two parts to Toby's kit.
One is a nipple at the rad that just makes bleeding up there soooo much easier.
The other is an auto bleeder at the thermostat.

I recommend both! That being said be cautious with the auto bleed system. It can mask symptoms of something wrong with the cooling system.

Toby's is nice because you can disable the auto-bleed from the water pump.
