Miami Nights 1984 - Accelerated music video

I listen to a lot of retro/synthwave music and came across this video which "re-introduced" me to the delorean.

While watching it I realized I wanted a mirror finished delorean. After finding my black one, I realized a good wax on the black paint would be more practical and way less time consuming. The aesthetics and style of the video are what I am aiming for in my restoration/customization of vin 10201.

This is a great video. A shorter version was posted on our "DeLoreans in Music Videos" thread back in Jan, hadn't seen this longer version yet. So you bought your car as a result of this video? This may be a first! A DeLorean owner who bought the car based on content generated not only in the last decade, but in the last 4 months!

This may prove the DeLorean has pop culture staying power beyond BTTF, although admitedly I likely wouldn't have become interested in the car without my childhood BTTF obsession.

    Thanks for sharing this!

This video did not introduce me to it lol. I wanted one when I first saw it in wedding singer. It was years later that I saw bttf which I think my dad bought since he knew I liked the delorean. It wasn't until my recent plunge into retro culture that i wanted to own one. I was lusting after a testorassa until I saw that video. So I guess this video is a big reason why I actually bought the car, but not why I liked it.

Yeah same here. It's such a shame that my cassette player doesnt work cause I bought a cassette adapter hoping to drive around blasting synthwave.
