So I cracked the brown bakelite connector on my thermotime switch. Can I replace it with a volvo part?

Very common for those to turn brittle and break. Does the connector still grip to the metal pins? If so, I wouldn't worry about it.

I had to zip tie the wire connector back on

Just be VERY careful to install the plug properly. If you reverse the wires (install the plug wrong) bad things will happen.Originally Posted by djdogbone
