    Radiator cap

    Can anyone tell me when buying a new radiator cap do i want Recovery or non recovery?

    We don't have a recovery system. That would need a tank hosed to the current overflow hose so it would suck back any overflow. Those systems have no air gap in the cooling system.

    Why no air gap? Because they are allowed to overflow into the reservoir bottle when hot and pull the coolant back in when it's cooler. That's why the radiator on modern cars should be full, and the overflow tank be half full. The DeLorean header tank is pressurized so it needs the expansion room inside the tank.
