    Shifter replacement

    I just purchased a SS Gear Change Lever ("stick shift") but I'm not sure how to remove the old one. I removed the roll pin, but it is still attached via an internal spring. What next?

    Hidden at the base of the Gear Change Lever is a Washer and a Circlip (C-Clip).
    The Washer and Circlip must be removed in order for the Lever to slide out from the Gearchange Assembly.
