One of my favorites that I had was "1981DMC" because it drastically reduced the number of people asking me what year the car was built.

I've been thinking of getting a non-BTTF plate partly for this reason, and I feel like I should put something more about the car itself rather than a movie.
After seeing the picture of your D with Virginia plates, I am giving much thought into selling my Mustang and buying a D.. It looks amazing! "DMCXII" is still on my scope as a great plate.. Or even "Lseven" or "GRNGE", perhaps just keep my current plate. Some other ideas were taken for Virginia.. "YY4U"

May not be a "vanity" plate, but I love the powder blue tag. And yes, I DID NOT ask for "BLO 328"...thank the Lord only 1 person this year has so far had some cocaine reference for it....
Methinks you are just going to trade bad BTTF jokes for bad Cocaine jokes.

    I'm giving serious consideration to:

    Dermot
    VIN 2743, B/A, Frame 2227, engine 2320

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Really? I have had "1981 DMC" for about 10 years on #5000 and I still have idiots ask me questions about the year. I also have "1983 DMC" on #16128, still get the same question. Funny enough, I don't have a pic of the cars side by side from the rear. I'll have to take a pic and post it here, eventually.

Thankfully, it's only happened once in the entire year so far. A VW Beetle came to the show that had the EXACT SAME plate...just read "BLO 327" - thought that was pretty awesome!

Actual snippet of a conversation from Sept 2013:

Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.

Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....

If I were to get a plate to fend off the dumb comments it wouldn't be for the coke or BTTF jokes, it would be for all the "If you don't mind me asking, how much did ya pay for that?" or "what's something like that worth?".

    Some ideas:

    ABOUT25K

    RULEOF25

Or maybe: YESIDOMIND (might need a few more letters!)

Why not go with "XPNSVE1" or "ITSXPNSF" and, if they ask just say "It's expensive."

I didn't renew it this year due to my possible move to Pennsylvania. Jokes on me since I failed.

Too bad, if you make the move it does not go near Virginia..
