I don't get it, and I like roller coasters as well as motion simulators. So, you're in a fully enclosed train, can't see where the track goes (unless they're showing you video from the front car over the VR headsets), can't feel the wind in your face... why not just bring back a new motion simulator ride? I guess aside from feeling the motion of going up, down, twisting, dropping, it's not much more than you'd do on a motion platform. And if the headsets are even slightly out of sync (ever wear an Oculus?), there's going to be a lot cleaning to do after each run.
Oh, and pink eye when you put on a headset someone before you was wearing with it.

    Sounds like FUN.

Dont get too excited. This is very clearly just fan fiction. Back to the Future is not on Universals Radar for ride franchises to expand.

Someone just scraped pictures of someones concept art from this amusement fan page and made an article out of it.
