Special Thanks to Rob Grady - better late than never

I wanted to post a special thank you to Rob Grady for attending DCS 2016.

As most DCS 2016 attendees know, Rob was delayed several times, trying to
get to the event and we had to postpone his Legend presentations twice, but
despite the scheduling conflicts, Rob persevered and arrived by Saturday.

I had left some extra time in the Saturday evening presentation schedule
for a last minute change and we were able to have Rob and Chris Nicholson
give an abbreviated version of their "Tale of Two Legends" presentation.

Rob was also the only vendor who had volunteered to do the daily tech talks
we had asked of all the parts and service vendors to present, and as a few
of you have already commented, this was an area of interest that was missed.

For those of you that walked into B1 and saw empty tables and walked into B3
and saw an empty room with a similar setup to B8, you know why these rooms
did not get any use on Thursday and Friday. Best laid plans ...

Rob even went against his better judgment and attempted to leave Long Island
during rush hour on Friday (which most of you would know is a huge headache),
to be able to attend DCS 2016, for 1 day, and then turn around and head home.

Thanks again Rob ... your extra effort was most appreciated.

That was the one presentation I missed, but glad he got to speak to everyone.

It was great of George Levy to fill in that early Saturday AM time slot. He was very engaging and that freed up some of our afternoon to spend more time looking at the cars. I think my wife enjoyed his presentation the most.

As with most of the information posted here, we will get around to posting it all on the DCS website too.
We plan to post the Winners to the DCS website with one or more photos of their cars, so watch for that in the future.

Springfield (the city) has the nicest hardworking people in it. Wow. It was nice to check out the town. Having the cars indoors was great, so much easier to spend time looking at them inside.

A thread for ideas for the next one would be cool, while it's all fresh

DCS 2016 raised over $700 for the MJF Foundation - Team Fox

(I posted this text with photos, in DCS photo thread, but I thought I would post again here as well)

How many times can you thank Oliver and Terry Holler? ... Whatever number it is, its never enough.

DCS 2016 raised over $700 for the MJF Foundation with the help of Team Fox members Oliver and Terry.

Car Show (11-4) on Saturday was Free, but we accepted donations from the public as they entered the show.

I'm sure there are several folks who should be thanked for their efforts in the production of DCS 2016. While I am not overlooking them, I want to give a special shout out to Rich. Every where you looked you saw Rich and he was not sitting down or even leaning up against something. He was constantly in motion and he kept his cool.

For all you did, Rich, Thank You!
