Hey! Im Dan. I have an 81. Stationed at Ft Useless. I will be transitioning soon, but I know there are a few D's in the area b/n you and richmond. There is a great local band, the DELOREANs. Anyway, I wouldn't mind bringing the cars together some time.

And I'm guessing you own a VFR too? I used to ride a VFR800. Epic bikes.

Thanks for joining us in Virginia. I have owned 905 for the last 2 years and have driven it around Virginia Beach and Norfolk. I have been to just a few shows, but I would rather drive with it than sit in one place. I have not seen a Delorean in this area for 20 yrs and It would be great to meet other owners. I am learning to restore and upgrade the car and would love to share others experiences.

Oh that looks very nice. I always like the 4th gen bikes. They have the NSR look to them and it was lost on the later bikes.

    Cool

Apologies for my lack of activity, been busy with classes, finally caught a break. Nice to see a few others have come out to the board. My car is in the shop at the moment, but I'm definitely game for a meet up in the near future to bring the cars together.

Thought I'd jump in here too. I just bought a DeLorean this week! I'm in Richmond, but am in Topping VA quite a bit as well.

    TDY in Norfolk

I'll be coming up through Norfolk in a couple of weeks. Looks like I will have my Delorean in tow; she was running fine when I put her in storage last month, but now isn't getting fuel. In any case, I'd be down for meeting up while in around for the first part of September.

Might bump this thread as I am moving to va beach. What class ship are you on? I was in the navy, 3D air search radar tech. Just accepted a job offer for field engineer for the same system i worked on in the Navy so I may end up on your ship someday if its a large deck. Ill be lviing in Dam Neck if you ever want to meet up!
