2016 DCS shipping car from Florida and back

I'm starting this now so we have time to work on it. I enjoyed driving my car to DCS 2014 but it put over 2,000 miles on it. I had to explain why there were so many miles that year to my insurance company.

Next year I'm thinking about shipping the car to IL and flying.

I wonder if we could get a discount if several of us went together and shipped several cars with the same company?
    Thanks,
    Lenny

Springfield, IL has a regional airport.

    Nearby Larger (International) Airports:

St. Louis is a little over an hour drive.
Chicago is about a 3 hour drive.
Indianapolis is about a 3 hour drive.

Shouldn't be an issue with insurance if you are driving to a car show.

Insurance companies differ, but that's also true of mine. Long road trips to nat'l conventions and meets are allowed.
