I'd like to be added to the list too- don't have an immediate application for it, but at the same time expect to need it down the line and don't want to miss out!

    Nick,

Do you think the machine shop could send you a photo of the tool that makes the spline cuts? I'm just curious what it looks like. I assume it's a broach of some kind.

Too bad you didn't ask this question before 6:00 this morning. I could have taken pictures of my shops spline machines and the different types/styles of cutters.
If Nick can't get pics of the tool they use, I'll take some, (when I get back to work Wednesday), of what we use for different applications.

    Nick, Ed,

Got mine today and it looks good.

May I make a suggestion for your new batch. You should wrap them with oil soak paper or hit them with a spray-on corrosion inhibitor at the machine shop. It should help prevent the light surface rust that mine has on it. Besides most of these will be sitting on shelves until the owner decides to tackle the replacement job.

    Thanks again.
