Cool 10657 has a new home!!!

    Dear DeLorean Friends,

I've met many of you over the years at DCS and Eurofest. Most of you will remember me as 'that guy with the camera' shooting a documentary about DeLorean owners, and what it's like to live the dream. Well, I'm very excited to announce that I'll finally join you all in the ranks of dreamers, as I'm now the proud new owner of VIN 10657!!!

I was choked up when 10657 rolled out of the vehicle transporter after a long, much-delayed journey across the country. Like most of you I'm sure, I've been dreaming about this day - LITERALLY dreaming about it - since I was about 5 years old. 10657, a 1982 gray interior automatic, is the same age as me. Who would've guessed 33 years ago as she rolled off the line in Dunmurray that she'd make her way into some newborn baby's garage one day?

I've registered the CA plate D E N S I T Y. Look for me on the roads and at car shows in Northern California!

    Your friend in time,

    - Jordan

P.S. I had been in possession of 10657 for less than 20 minutes when someone pulled up beside me and shouted "hey, where's the Flux Capacitor?!" That's gotta be some kind of new record!

Congrats! I know exactly how you felt, I could not sleep the night before we picked up ours. An actual dream come true. Mine is an '82 so it's just a year older than me

Also probably not a record on the "Hey!! Where's the Flux Capacitor??" LOL. I too heard it about that quickly and about 1000 times since in my short time owning the car. You'll get used to it.

What a great plate. I've never seen that before on a DeLorean.

Thanks!!! I thought long and hard about it! Finally I decided I could live with a BTTF reference as long as it was subtle.

Don't worry, you'll get many BTTF related shouts. I guess shouts and questions are fine until they ask, "Where's the cocaine?"

Anyways, good luck on the the "new" DeLorean, and keep living the dream!
