I know the two fuel ports and the vacuum to the intake manifold... what does that chimney connect to?

It's a just a vent tube. Normally there is a curved rubber hose on the top that just bends down to prevent water from getting inside (part 102355), but it doesn't actually connect to anything per se.

That's kinda what I thought. Mine has the curved hose attached. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss a vacuum connection.

    Thanks for the confirmation!

There was a Service Bulletin on it, ST-18-10/81.

I noticed a bolt sticking out of my WUR; I don't know why it's there, but looks to me like it doesn't belong.

Anybody know why this bolt might be there, or what purpose that location [on the WUR] serves?

    Thanks!

That is not the normal point to facilitate k jet black magic. But I wouldn't put it past someone making a modification.

Might have been an attempt to set cold control pressure or overall control pressure. Google “knocking the plug wur” for a description. This method is not as useful means to adjust the DMCs version of the regulator.

Thanks guys, I'll read up on it.

In the meantime, how do I normalize the situation?
