John DeLorean poster for MJFox foundation.

    Hi all,

As you might be aware, a few months ago I had a limited run of a poster of John DeLorean with the prototype DeLorean car printed, just 100 copies.

    The original thread is here:

    http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?11...oster-interest

You can read some reviews there and see that everyone who got one so far loves it!

I had 20 of these posters signed and numbered by the original photographer, Tony Korody, in an effort to do fundraising for the MJ Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research. I'm selling these signed posters for $75, with 100% of the profits (which is $50 per poster, after printing and licencing costs) going to MJ Fox - so in total I am hoping to raise $1000 for them.

So far, I have sold 9 of the 20 signed posters - I guess at $75 it is a lot of money for a poster, but I did think it would be easier to sell these given the rarity and quality! Anyway, this week I was getting ready to send MJ Fox foundation the first payment for $450 raised so far. Luckily I had not yet sent the money to them however, as today in work it was announced that for the next 2 weeks, any charitable contributions we make will be matched by our company which I would really like to take advantage of.

So, if I can manage to sell the remaining 11 posters over the next few days, I will be able to send MJ Fox $2000 rather than $1000! I'll even cover the cost of postage myself within the US for anyone who purchases one of these posters in the next few days, which costs me $6.70 for each one.

If you know of anyone who may not be on this site but you think would be interested in one of these signed posters, I'd appreciate if you could send them this link to let them know. Or, maybe you know someone who would appreciate one as a gift with the holiday season approaching!

In summary - $75 including shipping and packaging for a very rare and excellent quality poster, licenced and numbered and including a certificate of authenticity, with 100% of profits going to a very worthy charity, and hopefully will raise $2000 for them. If interested, please email me at [email protected]

Appreciate any help you guys can give, and please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    John

Sorry to keep updating this thread but just in case anyone hasn't seen it...

I still have 5 posters left - a couple fell through. Any last minute takers before I send off the $$ to MJ Fox and have it doubled by my employer?

    Thanks for the support,

    John

The poster is very nice.....great picture of both JZD and the car. As I told my wife who wondered why ANOTHER DeLorean picture.......the cause is good and John Dore is a very nice fellow. My poster arrived in just a couple of days - well packed, etc.

I must admit i am running out of wall space.
