Replacing Brake line Front Main 100454
I am replacing my Brake lines with Josh's S/S lines. Only issue is the Front Main line # 100454 Would I need to have the body lifted off to do that, unless there is another way??
My car is currently stripped of almost everything, so it would be easy to just unbolt and lift body, but no clue of doing such a job. I figure since everything is off car why not try and attempt it.
What do you guys recommend?
Thank you!

Resurrecting this old thread....
It's my understanding that there is no way to replace the hard brake line (Item 21) aka p/n 100454 on Brake Parts Manual (WITHOUT) Taking the body off.
I also upgraded to DPI/Josh's SS hard lines except for this line... left the old (steel/OEM) one in place unfortunately.
IF anyone was ever able to replace without body removal I would be interested in knowing exactly how that was done.
Thanks

I just happen to see this. Yes, definitely old, lol. I actually sort of lifted the body in order to swap that line out as well as the 2 pipes on the opposite side, Part # 101755

I was thinking of the same thing, slightly lift the body enough to get to the pipes. Did you have to disconnect anything?

Body tub needs to be lifted to properly install our line section with all of the required mount locations. It is impossible to achieve perfect orientation without doing so.

Same problem for the fuel lines. If the brake lines are bad enough to replace you might also want to do the fuel lines.
