That would be great. My email is [email protected]. any pics from dmc fl would be great. I need clear shots of the icons and warning lights on both sides.

In the meantime, this can work. I can take a better quality screenshot when I get home from my copy directly.
This would be great to get this done! I wanted to make this a tshirt like I did the original dash, but never got around to it. Would be great if we could mock up a good version of it!

New sweeping animation for startup ( I might add to the stock dash)
No needles or menu yet
Not happy with the warning light text font and look. I will redo that (most likely in photoshop)
clock is a set value until I figure out how to display leading zeros for minutes less than 10
All the icons where drawn by hand pixel by pixel, they are not standard icons so they are not found anywhere. There may be inaccuracies on the right 3 icons because of low quality source material.
Thanks to everyone that sent me images and links. I couldn't have made it without those images.
I finished up most of the proto1 dash and added needles. There is still tweaking to do on both but I am at a point where they are 90% done. So now I can move on to more fun and creative dash concepts. stay tuned.
I also added code to dampen the needle's sweep rate. This will keep them from going crazy if I have a data spike or instant change in values.
Here is a video of both dashes working in the same instance with free swapping between them.
What is used to input commands into the dash? Like switching between different layouts or choosing a theme.
This is a really cool project to watch as it progresses.
Right now it's just mapped to some keyboard keys, but in the future it could be mapped to just about anything. Examples steering wheel controls, turn signal stock controls, phone app, etc
This is the hardware I have ended up with. Its a Intel Nuc micro computer i7 8Gb ram and 128Gb ssd hardrive. It runs everything nice and fast. Best of all it boots to windows in under 10 sec. DWYK.jpg
I took the screen out of the binnacle so I can redesign the bracket and mounting system. I also have my 10.4 in touchscreen for the center console.
The one on the left has the stock dash, with a mock-up of the interface I will be writing. The one on the right has the proto dash and a android virtual machine running Spotify.
Both screens are running of the same computer.
Over the next few weeks I will be roughing in the center screen interface. I previous designed it for a much larger screen and need to find a good balance for the size of everything. Now that I have the physical screen, I can test how it looks and the sizes of different buttons and menus.
