Just a few more pictures from the test fit last weekend.
After talking with Ken and getting I got the news that the car is too behind schedule to make the drive to DCS ( it will be trailered) and it will be visually finished, but may not be drivable. I have decided that we are going forward and not installing the stock center console, radio, vents, hvac controls, switches, shift plate, etc. We are going to install my center unit as we finish off the interior. So.... at the very least I need to have my relay board working with the microcontroller. I think I have the vac lines for hvac system worked out.
Should be ready to be installed in a few weeks.

Just out of curiosity, if you were to sell this, how trouble free do you expect it to be? I only ask because it's a fairly significant modification to a critical part of the car (though it is reversible with effort), so if something went wrong, you could be dead in the water, with no idea what's wrong. I assume you'd almost have to have some if not significant programming experience to keep up with it in the event that something goes wrong, correct? I'm sure if you sell 100 of these kits, you don't want to end up spending your free time playing "tech support," haha. I know personally, I've gone back and forth on this issue with regard to helping with engine swaps.
I'm just curious because with people saying "I want one," I want to know if it's really that simple. People say that about DeLoreans as a whole all the time, then they realize they know nothing about DeLoreans or car maintenance, and have more bad experiences than good. Not trying to put this down as it is very cool, I just wanted to put the point out there. Keep posting photos/videos; this is definitely a cool project!

I assume that it requires the same amount of effort as, say, applying a bumper sticker or refilling the tank.

If the above post was DeLorean related it should be noted that I don't know what I'm talking about.
