Glad to hear that you are making further progress on the digital dashboard. We have not had time to dedicate to this yet, but it is on our list. Been spending all my time fixing up the houses.
Maintenance can sure eat up your time.

BTW, WE are also finally getting to the production of the video of your presentation at DeLorean Weekend 2016. Radek hopes to have it done by the end of the month. He has been very busy with other DeLorean Weekend and Star Trek videos.

We are making progress on the Dream DeLorean. A number of suggestions have come in from other D owners. The car is going to have a totally new dashboard. It is going to be 3D printed. Lots of engineering on making all the HVAC electronic.

Right now, I am booked through the end of March, so I am hoping to really get up this project in April. August 12 in Hinsdale, IL at the Delorean MidWest CLub BBQ will be the first viewing of the Dream Delorean.

    Bob and Ryan
I might have to come up for that.

Not a bad looking printer and good build size. I have a bukobot v2 duo and just got a robo3d r1 (which out of the box does excellent prints).

Have plans to make some parts myself and print them.

Just a quick update for you all.

I am working on buying my first home, I will be leaving the apartment life for bigger things. The new place has a huge workshop to work on the car in, and I can finally get all the delorean parts off the dining room table.
Because of all this, I haven't worked on the car in a few weeks, but hopefully I will have some weekends free in the coming weeks to get some work done.
Here are a few pics of the led's the back working, I have added speakers on the back wall after these pics

I have been working on the software lately. I am in the process of a full rewrite of my software, I have learned a lot in the last year and some of my code was very clunky from me new to the process.
As a result the rewrite is making it simpler to add features like this and will allow me to make new dashboards much faster. I completely rewrote the needle code from scratch, making them much more accurate.
I can also now change colors on the fly, Still a early design of the color picker, but eventually I will have alternate and customizable color schemes for all the dashboards.

For those of you who are interested, I did a talk at Delorean Weekend last Oct. on my dash. Here is a video of it. You'll have to forgive me, I am not a great public speaker.

(don't mind the 0's all over the place, I was debugging sections at the time.)
Here is some crazy color options.

The faded look a lot of you are familiar with....

    Added the 170mph Speedo
