    SEO Motorsports will not be reopening

    As many of you already know I moved my family to our new home and closed the shop a few months before to be ready for the move. The plan was to reopen in a location near out new home but after much deliberation, my wife and I feel it is just too much to manage along side my professional engineering career. The good news is our new home is much more spacious and I plan to build an extra two car garage with a lift dedicated to my Hobby work. I will have the mods change my user name to "Ed Ghesquiere". For all the 5-6 of you who are waiting on an engine swap, I will be taking a year or so off of larger DeLorean projects while we do some remodeling around the house.

    Sorry to hear that but family comes first. When you get older you may have more free time.

    Hate to hear this. But family should come first.

    Will you still do swaps for owners as a "hobby", you know on the side , or are you completely done with any swaps? I wish I could have sent you one of my cars to toy with.

    I definitely am open to more "Hobby" fun in the future, I just need to focus in other areas at the moment.

    Heh. . . There is a formula for that:

    Aft = Ac + (Amk-Ayk)

    where:
    Ac = Your current age

    Amk = Age of your youngest kid getting off your payroll, i.e. independence/maturity. Typically about 24, ideally about 18. Hopefully not 35 and living in your basement.

    Ayk = Your youngest kid's age

    Aft = Age of more Free Time (assuming you don't own a business).

    Plus ft has a strong negative pressure differential and is easily overwhelmed by todo, tcb, or bs

    Good luck Ed in your future endeavors and thanks for taking the time to answer a few questions for me on Facebook awhile back!
