    Installing upgraded fuel lines

    Hi all,

I was just wondering if there was any surprises or anything special I needed to know when installing new fuel.lines. I was going to approach this the same way I do plug wires and just do one at a time. But I've never done them before so I figured I'd ask first. Also Is there any special way to prime the system after its been emptied of fuel? Or do I just crank the ignition until it starts to go. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks,
    Chris Piazza

All depends on what lines you are installing. Styles are different depending on source.

Then you should be asking Rob this. One of the most important things is to not damage or kink the hard lines on the frame under the body. You have to lift the body to replace them.

I find different opinions from multiple people can be helpful. Plus in any conversation we may have missed something in going over the installation procedure. Anyway I have already discussed it wit Rob. Stop being such a pain in the ass David if you can't offer anything helpful.

Seems like a lot of extra work to change the lines in the engine compartment.

If you got advice from Rob you are good to go. He is the authority on the parts he sells and there will be little else anyone could add. If you go around asking for more information you will just wind up confusing yourself. Besides, I did mention how you must be careful with your hard lines so I did have something helpful to add. You want more helpful? Use flare tool wrenches. They grab on more than just 2 flats and are less likely to slip and round off the fittings. Always back-up the fittings with a back-up wrench so you don't twist or kink the lines. Is that what you are looking for in the way of advice?
