DeLorean still on display at Universal Studios?

Is the restored A Car still on display at Universal Studios? From what little info I can find online, it appears it was on display at the NBC Universal Experience attraction. However, it appears this attraction is now closed?

I'll be in Los Angeles this week, and was hoping to go see it.

    That's my understanding as well.

That for reasons best known to themselves, after all that restoration work, they have put it back in storage.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

I visited the car just days before it was removed, little did I know they were about to tear down the entire building and put the car away.
They were supposed to move it to the LA Museum of Natural History but for some reason that didn't happen.
It should remain at USH, but otherwise I would be OK if it went to the Peterson.

Here is a video I took just days before it was moved.
You can see that only a few years after the restoration, it was already falling apart again.

Maybe it will get a better display? I thought it was a shame the interior was largely hidden. That car needs to be displayed with at least one door up.

I hope that's the case. I had it on my To Do list for 2015. I completed everything on my list but visiting Universal Studios in Calif. That's upsetting. I do hope that's the plan it get gets a new much bigger home so peeps can visit and enjoy it.

When I was visiting their U. Studios Web page a couple months ago, looking up vip passes, I couldn't find the link to the back to the future site. I knew I should of just got into my car and drove to see it! Follow your gut instinct. Darn

Just got back to Silicon Valley. I saw the Clock Tower today on the back lot tour, and the several Back to the Future II cars on display on the tour, but no DeLorean. I went down to where the NBC Universal Experience used to be, and it was covered with the walls they use when they're working on something, looked like it was being torn down. I walked every inch of the park accessible to visitors, and didn't see the car. I also asked at the Information desk at the park entrance, they said it wasn't currently on display. Did see 'Doc' near the entrance.

However, I DID get to visit DMC California, and there was a time machine in the back, kind of close . Seeing the cars there and the building and all the cool stuff was probably the best part of the trip. Bought a couple books I didn't have

DeLorean: Celebrating the Impossible by Chris Parnham and Andrew Withers

John Z, the DeLorean, and Me by Barrie Wills

Have the visit DMC Houston next
