For the moment I'm just going to put it back in to keep the threads clean, but leave it disconnected. MegaSquirt seems to have experimental knock sensor support, so maybe I'll try it in the future, but for now I'm going to leave it alone.

That is a knock sensor! I never had one on my motor, interesting.
I wouldnt bother with knock sensing and MS2. Not to mention the compression ratio of the 3.0 is very low, I dont see detonation being an issue.
