    I have to agree that in my opinion grooved hoods look much better than those gas flap jobbies.

    I haven't done it, but DM is right. It's durable. You could cause damage if you're not careful. I'm sure it can be done without damage.

    Seriously though... does that really happen? I ask because mine was fairly loose... probably not enough to cause the air brake effect, but after I replaced the springs (101560) it really tightened up.

    To the OP, I also encourage you to call your nearest DMC location as part of your search process. They don't always post all of their available cars on their website. Good luck!
