    Question Shift boot frame crack

Hey guys, my shift boot has a crack in it. I know how I'm going to fix it, but what glue should I use to keep the leather attached to the original frame?

Quicker durable solution. Once they break the odds of not breaking on reassembly after repair is high.

Thank you, but I'm saving every cent I can for DCS. If you are there I may pick one up.

But right now I have a good solution for my crack, I just would like to know a good glue that won't hurt the leather.

Look no further! This is what you need. My leather shift boot is holding onto the frame very well with this.

Mine was cracked too... and I ordered the metal replacement. But now I'm looking for instructions or a video on the best/correct way to install it.

It looks like it just 'snaps' in on the sides, but that doesn't seem right. Is there more?

That's right. It just snaps down with the clips inside the center console cutout.

And do I just use the famous 3M trim adhesive to bond the leather to the bracket?
