    Delorean w/some different items...

Check out this DMC for sale.

Several things I have never seen before are the embroidered door pull straps, the Gullwing Design automatic transmission computer and the oval engine cover support.

    Anyone see these before?

The door pull straps and engine cover stay are just custom items. The gullwing design AT gov comp is a read deal product available for purchase and it works great. I have one on my auto trans DMC.

Based on the thick gauge wire near it, perhaps it's a stereo amp?

With either an alarm or remote start FOB on top of it too. At least that is what it looks like.

Perhaps he means <300 auto 82s?

And while the $60 liability insurance claim is possibly true, who would insure a $30k car that way?

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

That seems to be hardwired which makes me wonder if it is a satellite radio antenna?

Looks like the antenna for a remote start. I have a Viper remote start on my truck and that same exact thing is glued to my windshield in the upper left corner.
