Interestingly, when I was car-shopping for a particular model back in January, the 2012-2014 listings went like this:

    black.....black.....black....grey.....black....... black......navy blue....black....grey.....*silver!*....black.... grey.....black......*silver!*

I didn't set out to buy another silver car, but when faced with those choice, silver it is!

I'd like to get together some time in a few weeks with you guys. My Delorean has been at DMC Florida for a couple of months getting some major work done, and I should have it back in the next few weeks. Here is the work I've had done:

    • Stage 2 engine upgrade
    • Powder coat all parts removed for the Stage 2
    • New water pump
    • Replaced auto trans governor (was having trouble with not shifting)
    • New carpet
    • New set upholstery
    • Painted and cleaned up engine compartment and frame in engine area
    • Eibach lowering shocks and springs
    • New weatherstripping
    • Fix electrical gremlins
    • New fiberglass front facia (were just supposed to fix eyebrows, but all the mounting screws broke off from rust when they removed it)
    • Painted front and rear fascia
    • Installed A-pillar trim
    • New front windshield
    • Fix AC system and convert to R134A
    • Fix remote power mirrors
    • New coolant overflow tank
    • Install stainless steering column u-joints/rod (old one was rusty as heck)
    • Blend/polish all stainless panels

So yeah some pretty major work being done. It should look and drive really nice when I get it back. I'm very excited! I can't wait to see how the stage 2 upgrade feels/sounds.

Rental in Birmingham AL for elementary school PTO

Hi - I am in charge of Liberty Park Elementary's fundraiser this fall -- we are doing a themed fall fundraiser - a "mystery in the park" and the theme was written about a DeLorean. We are looking for someone that is willing to simply park their DeLorean in the elementary school lot (which will be supervised all day) for one day or even a 1/2 day and make these kids dreams come true! We are willing to place your business name on our sponsor list which will be seen to several hundred parents and children.
The date needed is Sept 14 (flexible) and it is for Liberty Park Elementary.
Please contact me if you are interested in helping us out - thank you!!
