Pretty sure the injectors didn't screw in either. But it's been a long time.

From what I remember, those little metal clips don't really hold much. They might even be from the original injector part. That's why they look rusty in the pic. Mine are the same exact way.

BTW: My car is a beast again now that the power valve (full throttle enrichment valve) is re-installed. No more falling on face, just all go, go, go!

Back to having the fastest naturally aspirated PRV Delorean.

Point of order: all I asked from Bill was information but he flipped out when after ignoring my questions, I asked the same questions in public.

Robert is right on in his writings. It's not Bill's product that's bad (although I cannot attest to his new welder) it's Bills arrogant snide personality. But whatever, I'm out of it all now.
"Crazy ex-girlfriend" signing off !! Peace out Billy boy !

The injector plugs I provide depend upon good condition injector boots. If your injector boots are damaged or worn out, they won't properly seal anything, be it a plug or an injector.

End users are responsible for their own injector boots.

I have absolutely no control over anyone else's injector boots.

If in doubt, just buy a replacement set from a vendor of choice.

Makes absolutely no sense to reimburse me more than a thousand dollars for carb conversion components (material cost only -- my labor is gratis, even for the ungrateful), then cheap out over an $18 set of injector boots.

If your injector boots are worn out, please don't cry or complain to me -- I have no control over that whatsoever. Would be like blaming me because you haven't taken responsibility to brush your own teeth and now your breath stinks and your teeth are falling out.

I only have control over components purchased or manufactured on owners' behalf -- nothing else.

Injector plugs are provided on the assumption end users have already taken responsibility for their injector boots while still K-Jetted.

The only one "crying" here is you Bill. Always has been, always will be. I was just answering a question and stating that my plugs didn't need to be "pressed in with a socket and extension" as you claimed. Maybe new buyers would rather hear truth and get specific detailed explanations instead of you pulling the "look at me" card by claiming people are blaming you all the time. Give it a break son. People don't want to buy mechanical parts from a petulant child such as yourself.

    That'll do donkey, that'll do.
Now you can garnish more selfish attention by telling me I need to calm down.

It would be helpful if everyone posting to this thread kept their comments on topic. Additional threads can be created for posts that are off topic.

If owners ever claim to have the fastest DeLorean on the face of the planet, then prima facie their carb conversions are working correctly.

For example: "I have the fastest naturally aspirated PRV Delorean", or similar.

In such instance comments of appreciation would be appropriate.

I am keeping comments to the topic. Helping a person with the injector plug question you ignored. Why don't you READ my posts before making asinine comments?

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth Billy boy.

I stated that the conversions were mechanically fine it's the vendor who isn't "mechanically" fine. You have proven yourself to be a total ass many times for many, many years here Bill. No argument there.

Not being a "crazy ex-girlfriend" just being honest and helpful to the carb community. My conversion DOES work properly, despite your efforts to thwart that.

How did you determine the power valve was bad, Lou?

thanks guys! Bill I didn't know you used the same boots over. I am just going to order new ones, as for the clips are those the stock injector clips as well? do the clips come in your kit or do we supply them too?

I'm going to have to look up how the favored injectors are attached.. I thought they screwed into those ports it's been so long since I removed them
