    Thanks for your reply. When I wash the car, it's usually just scotch-brite and water, nothing else so I wondered how that would work. Maybe I should try your method of windex/bar keeper's friend. I really liked the look of the wide stripe, I guess I'll have to wait until one comes up for sale. I refuse to buy from Hervey and he's blacklisted me anyway.

    I've had these on my car from DeLoreanGo for over 10 years, my car's driven in all weather and they're still like new.

    Despite routinely jet washing my car the 3D DMC logo, which I would expect to be the most vulnerable part, has not budged.
