    Stainless steel coil cover

Anyone know where I can find one of these for sale?

I've seen them before, but cannot find one on any of the major vendors websites.

    Thanks,
    Andy

I have seen them before. I believe DPI sells them. If they don't just search Google because one of the Vendors definitely has them.

Or perhaps you mean this part:

The red arrows pointing to the resistor bracket on your photo made me think that was the part you were seeking. But now I notice you mentioned the coil cover in the title.

I was thinking along the same lines as you, Pat. Could have meant the bulkhead/coil cover in SS or the ballast resistor cover/bracket.

There were several different designs for the ballast resistor cover mentioned in this thread. Not sure which ones were offered for sale at the time, or now.

I didn't even look at the pic. When he said "coil cover" there was only one thing he could mean.

Turns out he wants a resistor cover I guess. Be careful not to trap too much heat when covering those up.

I made mine from a piece of sheet stock in under an hour. I left it open at the sides and bottom.

I have seen others' do much better jobs than me using mesh and stainless letters.

My apologies, I meant the SS ballast resistor cover. The search continues...

All right, that's the picture I posted above. (it's all stainless and even the plate which has black sticker on it)
