Viper SmartStart does have this proximity lock/unlock feature built in. I have it turned off as I prefer to do it myself.

You mean you have to use your hands? That's like a baby's toy.

    Apps are too troublesome.

I want something that opens the door as I walk up to it without my involvement. Like the Model X. No, I can get lazier. The seat should extend out so I don't have to get in the car before I can sit.

We have one of those new garage door openers with the conventional remote and app. I can open my garage from work. I use it so that I don't deny the window visor on the DeLorean, but it means a little bit of fuddling with my phone in the driveway. It's a little more inconvenient than the old fashioned way.

If the above post was DeLorean related it should be noted that I don't know what I'm talking about.

I remember a comedy routine talking about carousel DVD players back in the day. Ones that hold 5 DVDs at a time. So, you mean you can't get up to change the disc until after, what, 10 HOURS!!?? lol

Youngsters! I had to stick a key in a tiny hole in the door and then remember which way to turn it.

    Get off my lawn.

Half the fun of owning a delorean is manually opening the doors. I'll keep it analogue until my arthritis gets worse.

Where are my dentures? Damn, I left them on Dave's lawn....

I'll stick to the manual key opening. Mixed tapes though? Nah, I'll fast forward to the future and use playlists, thanks.

Now I need to build one of these, as well as Barney's sports car.
