what are the last 5 digits of your VIN?
01086 are the last 5, All I can find out so far is the car was sold in Charleston South Carolina at Palmetto Ford . Any vin help would be great. Also the hood and gas door combo is rare? A friend of mine said it was only on 81 deloreans.

    Cool New Owner of 10439

Hello. My name is Chris and I live in Springfield MO. I'm 43 and grew up in the BTTF era. I am the new owner of a 1982 Delorean VIN 10439. My father was the second owner and has many new brochures, technical manuals and a big stack of issues of a delorean owners association magazine "Delorean World" He purchased the car in the late 80's with 12K miles, it now has 18k miles. My dad is 84 now and the car had been parked in his garage for about 16 years in Ohio (without being ran) I got the car from him so I Could bring it back to life. Several months ago I found this site and came across John Hervey. I had the car shipped to the Dallas area to have a whole list of items replaced to get her back "alive" (after sitting for 16 years it did need a lot of TLC) I'm happy to report that it is now up and running. I need to get a few other items completed then I will be able to bring her home. I'm looking forward to me and my 6 year old son taking her to some shows and creating some memories.

    Introduction

    Hello guys!

I was a regular visitor @dmctalk.com until it was... gone.
At last I'm a member of the new dmctalk.net. Glad I did!

Unfortunately I'm not a D-owner. And like everyone else I would like to state: not a owner yet. Who knows. Currently driving a Daihatsu and for work: BMW 118d.
    Living in The Netherlands (Rotterdam-area).

Can I post a question too?
A few years ago I watched a vid made by a BttF-replica owner. Sort of a roadtrip movie. It was really a great video, people waving at them and had a nice uplifting music. I'm searching for a a couple of days now and connot find it. Any idea's? Thanks!
