Hi all. My name is Brad & I've been a lurker here for a few years. Like many of you, I've been in love with a DeLorean since I first saw one at a dealership in 1981 when I was 8 years old. My wife of 20 years has finally green lit my dream & I'm on the hunt to purchase one in 2016. The craziest thing is I've never sat in or driven a DeLorean! I live about 2.5 hours north from DMCFL. I search all the websites daily for my car. I'm still undecided on if I will buy from one of the DMC franchises or an individual. I'm wanting a 5 speed with grey leather. It will be driven 3-4 days a week around town. I look forward to talking & meeting you all here & in person

Hi Brad,

I bought my car as a restoration project from DMCFL. I couldn't be happier with the car, the deal, and the service afterwards. The guys are great. I'd recommend a trip there when they're open to look, sit in a car, and ask questions.

So far the few issues that I still have with this one is a little pulsing idle and it smells like its running a bit rich and has a hot start issue. The Voltage stays around 13V when running but at idle it'll go down to 10 and the oil pressure gauge bounces around when idle and the passenger door latch is a bit finicky. Since 2009 its had a new alternator, injectors, fuel pump/sender/filter, coolant flush, 134A A/C conversion, thermostat, warm up regulator, brake master cylinder, steering bushing, angle drive kit, new battery, tires and interior work done.

If anyone can help with some links to threads that would be related to my issues I would greatly appreciate it.
