Oh, good, I was beginning to think these Deloreans were becoming common around here lol
I'd be happy to take you for a ride in it, stop in next time you see it out there. I was surprised the first time I rode in one how fun they were. Also, there's an upcoming exotic car show in Celebration in a couple months where there will probably be more than a couple Deloreans. It's a good way to meet future phone-a-friends before or after purchasing...

Just found the forum. Bought the car new from the Dealer in Syracuse, New York in 1983. Still have it. I too have unusual cars. Hope to find more owners in upstate NY.

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

My real name is Derek and I live in PA. Just bought VIN 2692 on December 9 with a little over 13K miles on it. Done a few things so far. Replaced the headliners with new ones from DMC. Replaced the steering column bushing and the steering shaft and u joints with new stainless ones from DMC. Also replaced the tail light circuit boards and all the exterior lights with LED. The only things left are to replace the tach, it's stuck and not working and have the A/C converted to r134 as it doesn't blow cold
