A boatload of fun expected with you for the next years :-)

PS : Expect weird sentences and creative spelling, English is not my mother tongue.

    Hello Group

I have been reading the forum for the past year attempting to learn as much as I can about the DMC-12. I have purchased the "Illustrated Buyers Guide" to learn even more. Like a lot of folks I. have spent way too many hours on YouTube doing every more research. I am searching for a 1981 Model mostly due to the gas flap hood (this may change if I run into the "right" car ). I am located in North East PA.

    Long time reader...

....first time poster. (*edit* Apparently this is my second post. I'll need to go find that first one. HAHA!)

Delorean fanatic for a lifetime, I've been reading these forums for around a decade, and finally registered a few years ago as Delorean ownership began looking like a potential reality. REAL Delorean ownership, that is. My first Delorean was the the Red #10 Hot Wheels turismo style one, with the yellow stripes and the sponsor logos. I got that in 1979 and still have it.
In the summer of 2019 I finally bought my first real Delorean, #5483, a lifelong dream realized. 9,000 miles, original condition with maintenance records and necessary updates performed.

Happy to be here! Looking forward to engaging, sharing and learning.

Well, would you look at that? There it is! Nothing necessarily riveting or helpful, unfortunately. Guess I better get to work on posting something worth reading, eh?
