Water in cubby behind driver, no where else

Ok I'm stumped. Didn't drive it in the rain recently, but my cubby filled with water after the recent rain. My car is stored outside and I even had a tarp over the cabin to make sure I had no water intrusion. The car is bone dry inside... except for the cubby.

I did replace the retaining strip for the deflectors under the car but I silicone sealed them and under the carpet the cubby is dry. Somehow water got in there.

Back window? I can't find water anywhere else. Where could the leak have come from?

It’s the vent hole in the fiberglass body behind the rear speaker. You can close it up either by removing the inside panel and the speaker, or the quarter panel. There is some foam padding that channels water away from the hole but it dissolved a decade or two ago.
