Below is a list of a few of the BTTF VIP Guests that were invited, but do not plan to attend:

Tom L. Wilson - unable to coordinate DCS appearance with his comedy act

After a successful TV skit with the DCS 2015 Raffle Car (in Fall of 2105, at Wrigley Field), we
thought we had a 'lock' on having Tom appear at DCS 2016 in tandem with him doing his comedy act.
Discussions with the Springfield area comedy club stalled and we attempted several other creative
options to try to make this happen, until our options were exhausted. We may see him in the future.

Michael Lantieri - scheduling conflict with a family event

Michael and his wife Mary Anne will not be able to attend DCS 2016, but they look forward to being
invited to a future DCS Event. Michael won an Academy Award for Special Effects for Jurrasic Park
and was the Special Effects Supervisor for BTTF II and Mechanical Effects Supervisor for BTTF III.
Michael's wife Mary Anne was Bob Gale's assistant for both BTTF II and BTTF III.

Maybe an outside chance ... Christopher Lloyd will be in Chicago through July 22

Although we are still holding out hope that Christopher Lloyd will make an appearance at DCS 2016,
his July schedule is quite busy, with appearances in NY the weekend before DCS 2016 and appearances
through July 22 in Chicago, so it will be a "wait and see" if Christopher Lloyd will have the desire
and energy to make the trip from Chicago to Springfield, IL on July 23, to make an appearance at DCS.

We do have a few more surprises that will be announced soon ... more details to follow.

Thanks,

Update ...

The good news is that we have not had any cancellations for the confirmed VIP Guests for DCS 2016,
but we do have a few more people who have confirmed they cannot fit DCS 2016 in their schedules.

Below are a few more VIP Guests that were invited, but cannot attend, due to work conflicts:

Manson Cheung - Hot Wheels 3D Modeler and Designer - conflict with work (at Comic Con San Diego)

Unfortunately, Manson will be unable to attend DCS 2016 due to a conflict with his work schedule,
which happens to include an appearance at Comic Con San Diego. We had been hoping Manson could
attend at least one day, to give us an update on DeLorean Hot Wheels (and all things Hot Wheels).
He regrets missing DCS 2016, and we look forward to Manson joining us at a future DCS event.

Darlene Vogal - BTTF Cast Member - conflict with filming a movie through Thursday, July 21

Busy is good, but too busy always leads to some disappointment. While Darlene wanted to attend
DCS 2016, she is currently filming a movie which tentatively completes filming Thursday, July 21.
Filming schedules are often adjusted "on the fly" and as needed, so it was difficult to get a
confirmed commitment, when there was a chance that filming would be extended beyond July 21.

Donald Fullilove - BTTF Cast Member - conflict with work commitments through Thursday, July 21

Even with a few returning VIP Guests, it's never a "done deal" until the deal is done. We tried
meshing the DCS schedule with Don's schedule, including getting him flights with extra leg room
(for those who have met Don in person, he is very tall and has very long legs), but with his work
commitments, we could not get him to DCS in time to attend most of our scheduled BTTF events.

Although we had a few negative RSVP's, we have a great collection of "new" VIPs for DCS 2016.

We hope to see many of you next month.

Thanks,
