    Wells Auto = DeLorean Canada?

If this guy is such a big deal, how come he's never talked about on any DeLorean forums? It seems like most of us are in the United States, but I've seen a fair representation of our Canadian neighbors. Surely someone has heard of him.

I met Justin at DCS '14; he's a really nice guy, a well-known owner, and member of the Canadian club.

Last year I saw a pic of a binnacle he repaired....looked really good. I believe he was offering the binnacle repair as a service to owners.

Justin IS a big deal. Just in a typically modest Canadian way.

He bought some of my products last summer.

So he must be a pretty good guy.

Justin is a good guy and I'm pretty sure his work is very good although I haven't seen it first hand. He buys a fair amount of parts from us and has an eye out for quality so that's a very good sign too!

We generally try to keep to ourselves.
Be surprised if you found a Canadian owner that didn't at least know of him

Justin/ Wells Auto is one of the few that has met our criteria for being an authorized installer/ dealer of DeLorean Industries products. We refer all general repair/restoration work to him possible in Canada minus the full builds/performance. As time continues he will also be offering our more advanced services as well.

Cool Wells Auto - DeLorean sales and Restoration IN Canada

    Hello Everyone,

First, thanks for the kind words!

I've had the pleasure of working closely with a number of DeLorean vendors over the years, and have relied on their sage words and this community's experience. Being in Canada, we purchase the parts our customers request from mainly the US but also around the world, and which they would benefit most from in our small market.

Second, Wells Auto does not and has not ever claimed to be "DeLorean Canada", rather we are simply a DeLorean Sales and Restoration facility, in Canada. I was not keen on the tonality in which the article was written, as Cory mentioned, modest is our mantra, and the article is not.

Along the same lines is my third point, which is we are not a big deal, we are a little deal - in a little market. We service, maintain, and restore the often very neglected cars we have way up here. We do so for those who can't, and work with those who can help themselves.

Please feel free to contact us anytime, and thanks for the interest in our operation!
    Justin

There are a lot less DeLoreans in Canada than the US, so maybe the percentages are still the same, but it seems like most owners here don't do much day to day stuff on the forums.

Modest or humble? Tom explains it well...

In terms of local shops north of the border that knew what they were doing, Canada was more or less in the wilderness before Wells came along.
Justin and his team have provided excellent service in an area where new and unknown DeLoreans are being discovered -- often on a weekly basis.
