    DeLorean 3455 - Twin Turbo - 5 speed

Well guys I'm at a crossroads in my life. As much as it pains me to do so, I'm selling out of the DeLorean world. Let start by saying I love these funky little stainless cars. I've thought of every possibility that I could think of in order not to sell, but right now I'm wanting to settle down and start a family of my own. The first step is becoming a home owner for the first time. So that being said, I'm going to have to sell my cars to make that home purchase. I'll eventually be an owner again, but it's time for me to grow up and focus on more important things.

This will be the first car I put up for sale. Here's the details,

    - 1981 Oct VIN #3455

    - Island Twin Turbo

    - Manual 5-speed Transmission

    - Odometer shows 30k but previous owner believes it rolled over, so that number could be 130k. Obviously I have no way of knowing which it is. I do know the car is super nice to be a higher number, if that's the case.

    - Grooved Hood

    - Black dealer Stripe

    - Custom two tone blue and grey interior

    - Custom Steering Wheel

    - Custom Sound System (Alpine Subwoofer, Alpine Speakers, Two Alpine Amps, and Alpine Head unit)

    - Converted to R134a

    - Interior and Door light Converted to LED & Has Custom Footwell lighting

    - All Fuses and breakers where updated in 2011

    - Lowered Suspension

    - Door Launchers

    - Strut tower brace in the trunk

    - Oil Changed Regularly

    - This was originally a Florida car before it moved to TN. I am the fourth owner

Since I purchased the car last year I have performed the following work,

    Rebuilt front end
    Replaced Fuel Accumulator
Installed 2nd gear roll-pin & transmission service kit
    New Clutch
    New Clutch Hydraulics
    New Oil PSI Sender
    Replaced Exhaust Manifold Gasket
    New Brake Master
    New Clutch Line
    New Tires all around
    New Battery
    Window Tint
    New Fuel Injectors

I’m sure there is a lot I’m forgetting. But that’s the basic rundown. I'll have a better list for any serious buyers.

    The BAD,
The speedo needs to be recalibrated. It has the 170mph unit installed and it was never calibrated. The front fascia has a quarter size paint flake/peel. Last known issue is the passenger door needs a little alignment work. It opens and closes ok, but it could close a lot easier.

I’m asking $32,000. Feel free to private message me with any offers.

The car is located in Jackson, TN (between Nashville, TN and Memphis, TN)

    Thank you for your time!

I can totally vouch for the car (used to be mine!). Good luck with the sale, my friend!

Thanks Ben! I really wish I didn't have to sell it. Just time for me to change priorities for awhile.

To answer an email I had, yes I am aware the car still needs a few little things. At the moment I am not firm on the price and I will consider offers. The longer I keep it, the more issues I'll fix, and then I'll have to be more firm on the price. The longer I keep it, the more likely I am to change my mind about selling too
