Not sure where now, but I saw that was in a related "making of" video. It was a Toyota Celica stand in, used to practice the shots until the real BTTF car was on set.

    EDIT:
    Here, I found it again:

That must have cost a small fortune to ship the Holliers car down there. I hope he comes on here and tells us all about it.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

This has been bugging me, and I finally figured it out.

You'll see in the video, the text, and headers "Cabildo y Juramento", and my initial translation has been bugging me. An interpretive translation of those legal terms could mean "under oath", however, I've now verified that those two words are streets, and it is referring to an intersection of those two streets.

As it turns out, "Cabildo" and "Juramento" are actually the names of two major streets, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The intersection of those streets appears to be a metropolitan shopping area, and where the electronics store Garbarino's is located, where "Doc" crashes into. As in the other links, Garbarino's is like our "Best Buy" here, and they are the ones who funded this promotion.
